Rear cover grubby, some scuffing marks to front cover. Name in ink to top margin of front pastedown. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Ink name and address stamp to top margin of title-page. Originally published in a concertina-style panorama format, this is the small book format. This is first in the BOOK format identified by the rear endpapers - poster to rear endpaper does NOT mention Tom Kitten's Painting Book. Base of spine and top corners very slightly bumped. Small patch of surface paper loss to front endpaper. Inscription in ink dated 1918 to half-title. A couple of hinges pulled. One page has a very small closed edge-tear. Corners lightly rubbed otherwise boards unusually clean and bright. Joints split and therefore binding is just slightly loose. Foxing to endpapers. Contents clean and bright with a few light creases which are a result of the pages being turned.
