Burgundy cloth, gilt title to spine. 7.25 x 4.75". xvi + 287 pages. Covers unevenly faded. W.H. Smith Library label to front cover. Slight loss to top of spine. Illustration by Manet missing (common!). Name in ink to front endpaper and title page. Stitching exposed on hinges opposite title page and index at rear. A few margin marks but contents generally clean.
